Anchalee Chongkhadikij, also known as Pooh, is a Thai pop singer who has been making waves in the music world since the 1980s. Born on November 15, 1955, in Thailand, Anchalee is an out and proud lesbian punk rocker.

Before pursuing a career in music, she originally aspired to become a doctor. However, after obtaining a master’s degree in finance at a university in the U.S., she decided to follow her passion for music.

Her back-up band was called The Barracudas. Anchalee was born and raised in Bangkok where her father served as the editor-in-chief of the English language newspaper The Bangkok Post.
