Amy Waters Davidson, born on November 11, 1969 in Staten Island, New York, is best recognized as the mother of comedian Pete Davidson. Her son gained fame as a cast member of Saturday Night Live.

Prior to her current role as a family member and public figure, Amy attended the College of Staten Island and graduated with a degree in nursing.

In 2019, following her son’s split from Ariana Grande, he purchased a home on Staten Island and resided there with his mother. That same year, she appeared alongside him on SNL’s Weekend Update segment for a special Mother’s Day episode.

Her late husband Scott Davidson was a firefighter who tragically lost his life in the aftermath of the 9/11 attacks. In addition to their well-known son Pete, they also had a daughter named Casey Davidson.
