Alisa Maric Feet

Alisa Maric, born on January 10, 1970 in Serbia, is a renowned chess Grandmaster. Widely regarded as one of the greatest female chess players of all time, she and her twin sister Mirjana gained attention for their exceptional chess skills from an early age.

In addition to her accomplishments in chess, Maric served as the Minister of Youth and Sports in Serbia from 2012 to 2013. She comes from a family with strong chess roots – her sister Mirjana is also a Grandmaster, making them the only set of twins to achieve such status in the world of professional chess.
