Alexandra Raeva, born on August 20, 1992 in Moscow, Russia, is a prominent figure in the world of curling. As a member of the Russian national women’s curling team, she has achieved numerous accolades for her country. Raeva secured gold medals at the 2013 World Junior Curling Championships, the 2013 and 2015 Winter Universiade, and the 2015 European Championships. She also represented Russia at the Olympics in 2014. Prior to gaining widespread recognition for her achievements, Raeva earned her first international medal by capturing bronze at the 2012 World Junior Curling Championships. She is additionally associated with the Moskvitch Curling Club and has taken on a new surname after getting married – from Saitova to Raeva.
