Zhu Zhu is a Chinese actress, singer, and television personality born on July 19, 1984, in Beijing, China. She first gained recognition as a host for MTV China before transitioning to acting. Zhu has appeared in various Chinese films such as “What Women Want” and “Shanghai Calling,” and she made her American cinema debut in “The Man with the Iron Fists.” She also played the role of Kokachin in the Netflix series “Marco Polo.”
From an early age, Zhu showed musical talent by learning to play the piano at three years old. She pursued further education in electronics and information engineering at Beijing Technology and Business University.
In 2017, she joined the cast of the Bollywood historical drama Tubelight, alongside Salman Khan. Born into a military family in Beijing, her father was a businessman while her grandfather was a general in the People’s Liberation Army. Additionally, she dated Italian entrepreneur Lapo Elkann from 2012 to 2013.
