About Yun-jin Huh
Yun-jin Huh (born October 8, 2001) is a South Korean pop singer known for her role as a member of the pop star group Le SSERAFIM. She debuted in May 2022, following her appearance on the competition reality show Produce 48.
Huh was born in Seoul, South Korea and holds dual Korean and American citizenship. She moved to the United States with her parents at a young age before returning to Korea for training in pop culture and performance.
In addition to singing, Huh is credited with writing song lyrics on Le SSERAFIM’s debut album “FEARLESS” and plays instruments such as the ukulele and guitar. She also has trained in operatic style of singing.
Huh gained attention after appearing on Produce 48 but was eliminated from the program. Following further training at Hanlim Multi Art School, she joined Le SSERAFIM.
Her English name is Jennifer and she is known by her Korean nickname Kirin-chan which means Giraffe. Fluent in both Korean and English, she enjoys language studies recreationally and is an avid fan of Harry Potter franchise. Born under the Chinese Zodiac sign of Snake, she identifies herself as Slytherin.
She relocated to New York City with her family at eight months old before moving back to Korea upon passing an audition for Pledis Entertainment where she began her journey into K-pop industry.
