About Yelena Isinbayeva
Yelena Isinbayeva, born on June 3, 1982 in Volgograd, Russia, is a renowned Russian pole vaulter. She achieved Olympic gold medals in 2004 and 2008 in Beijing. Isinbayeva started her athletic journey through gymnastics at the age of five before transitioning to pole vaulting.
She has been highly recognized by the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF), earning the title of Female Athlete of the Year for three years – 2004, 2005, and 2008. Yelena Isinbayeva is also a mother to Eva Isinbayeva whom she raised with her partner Nikita Petinov.
