Yekaterina Gamova is a renowned Russian volleyball player, born on October 17, 1980, in Chelyabinsk, Russia. Over the course of her career, she has represented her country at every Olympics from 2000 to 2012 and achieved silver in both 2000 and 2004. Additionally, she clinched gold at the World Championships in both 2006 and 2010.
Prior to gaining international recognition, Gamova began playing for Russia in 1996 and secured gold medals at the European Championship and World Grand Prix in 1999. Notably, she played professionally for Uralochka, Dynamo Moscow, Fenerbahce Acibadem, and Dinamo Kazan before retiring from the sport in 2016.
In her personal life, Yekaterina Gamova married Mikhail Mukasey in 2012.
