About Yashoda Wimaladharma
Yashoda Wimaladharma is a Sri Lankan film and television actress, best known for her role as Punya Heendeniya in the 2013 film Samanala Sandhawaniya. She has also portrayed recurring characters on popular television series like Raahu and See Raja.
Wimaladharma was born on October 28, 1971, in Sri Lanka. She attended St. Paul’s Girls School in Colombo and made her film debut in 1990 with Guru Gedara. Her television debut came later in 2000 when she starred in the series Bonikko.
She gained recognition for her performance in Guru Gedara, winning the Award of Merit at the 1993 Sarasaviya Film Festival.
Wimaladharma continues to be active in Sri Lankan entertainment and resides with her family including sister Thusitha.
