About Yanna Mcintosh
Yanna McIntosh is a Jamaican actress known for her work in television. She was born on February 4, 1970, in Jamaica. McIntosh has played notable roles such as Dr. Currie in the television drama “Side Effects,” Jenni Hernandez in the 1997 TV series “Riverdale,” Edna Myles in “The Eleventh Hour,” and Zona Robinson in “This is Wonderland.”
Prior to her acting career, McIntosh attended the University of Toronto and the Institute for Advanced Theater Training at Harvard University.
In 2011, she received the Toronto Theatre Critics’ Award for Best Actress in a Play for her performance in “Ruined.” Throughout her career, McIntosh has appeared in over sixty-five films and TV shows with much of her focus on television work.
McIntosh was born into a family hailing from Jamaica.
