About Xie Qing
Xie Qing is a Chinese Paralympic swimmer known for her participation in the 2008, 2012, and 2016 Paralympic Games as well as competing at the IPC Swimming World Championships in 2020. She specializes in the women’s 50m, 100m, 200m and 400m Freestyle events.
She made her Paralympic debut at the 2008 Paralympics in Beijing, China where she won her first gold medal in the Women’s 100 m Freestyle. In Rio de Janeiro during the 2016 games, Xie claimed another gold medal – this time in the Women’s 100m Freestyle event.
Born on February11th,1988,Xie grew up with her family in China and continues to inspire through her swimming career.
