Wondagurl (born December 28, 1996) is a Canadian music producer who gained recognition after being discovered on Instagram. At the age of 18, she produced the tracks “Company” and “Used To” for Drake’s album If You’re Reading This, It’s Too Late in 2015.
Prior to her success, Wondagurl won first place at the 2012 Battle of the Beat Makers music production competition. This led to a close relationship with rapper and producer Travis Scott, who appreciated her sample beats.
Her debut producing credit came on Jay Z’s song “Crown” from his 2013 Magna Carta Holy Grail album. She has also collaborated with Rihanna as a co-writer and producer for her song “B**** Better Have My Money.”
Born Ebony Naomi Oshunrinde in Canada to parents of Nigerian descent, Wondagurl was raised by her mother Jozie.
