About Wint Yamone Naing
Wint Yamone Naing, born on August 1, 1990 in Dawei, Myanmar, is a well-known TV actress and model. She gained recognition for her role as Mar Yar Cho in The Sign of Love, the first Burmese-language series to be aired on Burmese television stations.
Naing’s popularity from The Sign of Love led to roles in feature films such as Bye Bye Cowboy and The Filmmakers. She has since appeared in several other films and drama series including Happy Beach, Charm, and I’m Mahaythi – the most watched TV drama in Burma at the time.
Before pursuing acting, Naing earned a bachelor of commerce degree from Yangon Institute of Economics and attended Tin Moe Lwin Training modeling school in 2010. She also competed in pageants, participated in fashion shows, and appeared in television commercials such as for Air Mandalay.
In 2012, she won the Miss Lily Contest beauty pageant and became a brand ambassador for Sofy Eva in 2013. Born to Bo Thit and Kyin Yee, Naing has three older sisters.
