Wendy Padbury is an English TV actress born on December 7, 1947. She is best known for her role as Zoe Heriot on the long-running TV series Doctor Who and as Sue Craig in Freewheelers. In addition to her television work, she starred in the British horror film Blood on Satan’s Claw in 1970.
Prior to her acting career, Padbury trained at the Aida Foster Stage School. After her time as an actress, she transitioned into a theatrical agent and represented actors like Nicholas Courtney and Colin Baker.
Padbury was married to actor Melvyn Hayes with whom she had two children. Her daughter Charlie Hayes has also pursued a career in acting.
