Erika Costell, born on November 12, 1992 in Toledo, Ohio, is an American model known for her work with DAN Talent Group Inc., Wilhelmina International, and Ideal Fit Models. She has gained recognition for her swimwear, fitness, and lingerie shoots as well as being a member of the social group Team 10.
Costell’s interest in modeling began at a young age when she would look at magazines and pretend to be like the models featured within them. She launched her modeling career at the age of 16 after being taken to a photoshoot by her then-manager Larry Murdock.
Aside from her modeling pursuits, Costell was also involved in cheerleading for over a decade. Additionally, she studied business administration at Middle Tennessee State University before founding her own clothing brand called Akire Sport in 2020.
