About Violet Chachki
Violet Chachki, born on June 13, 1992 in Atlanta, Georgia as Jason Dardo, is a well-known reality star and the winner of Season 7 of RuPaul’s Drag Race. Apart from being a talented drag queen, she is also a singer, model, and burlesque dancer who released her first EP titled Gagged in 2015.
Prior to her fame, Violet started performing her drag act at the age of nineteen and briefly attended fashion design school at the Atlanta branch of the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD) before pursuing a career as a drag queen.
She selected her stage name by combining the first name of actress Jennifer Tilly‘s character in the film “Bound” with the Yiddish word for a decorative object. Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia.
