Vicky Jenson (born March 4, 1960) is an American filmmaker known for her work as a director. She gained widespread recognition after directing the popular animated comedy “Shrek” and achieved further success with the film “Shark Tale” in 2004. In 2017, she embarked on the production of the animated musical fantasy film “Spellbound.”
Prior to her filmmaking career, Jenson pursued studies at the Academy of Art University and California State University, Northridge.
Aside from her work in film, Jenson has also showcased skills beyond directing; she is known for playing the mandolin and directing Old Navy’s SuperModelquins ad campaign.
Jenson hails from Los Angeles, California, where her sister Dylana Jenson is a renowned violinist.
