Vecepia Towery (born December 9, 1965) is an American reality television star. She is best known for winning the fourth season of Survivor, Survivor: Marquesas, and became the first African American to win the show.
Prior to her reality TV career, Towery served in the U.S. Air Force and was involved in the Gulf War. Additionally, she has made appearances on television including starring in an episode of A Baby Story which documented the birth of her child.
Towery is married to Leander Robinson and they have a son together.
