Trini Alvarado is a movie actress born on January 10, 1967 in New York City, New York. She is known for her roles as Margaret March in the 1994 film Little Women and Lucy Lynskey in the 1996 comedy horror film The Frighteners.
Prior to her rise to fame, she started performing at a young age by joining her family’s dance troupe at age seven. This led to stage roles in musicals such as Runaway.
In addition to her acting career, Alvarado has also recorded audio books including Tricksters Queen and the series Alanna: Song of the Lioness Quartet.
Her mother Sylvia was a Puerto Rican flamenco dancer while her father Domingo was a flamenco singer. She is married to actor Robert McNeill with whom she had a son and daughter.
