Tracey Jackson (born May 12, 1958) is an American screenwriter, author, blogger, film director and producer hailing from Los Angeles, California. She is most recognized for penning the feature-length screenplays for the films The Other End of the Line and Confessions of a Shopaholic. In addition to her work in cinema, she has written blogs for various platforms including The Huffington Post and wowOwow. Jackson has also authored two books: Between a Rock and a Hot Place: Why Fifty Is Not the New Thirty and Gratitude and Trust: Six Affirmations That Will Change Your Life.
Prior to gaining recognition as a writer, Jackson appeared in the 1986 film Heartburn before creating the Fox TV series Babes in 1990. Notably, she penned the screenplay for The Guru (2002) starring Heather Graham and later wrote/directed Lucky Ducks in 2009.
