About Tope Alabi
Tope Alabi, born on October 27, 1970, is a renowned Gospel singer from Nigeria. With a successful career as a multi-platinum recording artist in her home country, she has released nearly a dozen albums between 2001 and 2013, including Iwe Eri (2003) and Agbelebu (2013). In addition to her musical talents, Alabi has also ventured into acting and appeared in several Yoruba films.
Alabi began her music career with the release of her debut album, Ore ti o Common, in 2001. She is known for collaborating with the comedy troupe called Jesters International. Originally from Ogun state in Nigeria, Alabi has also lived and worked in cities such as Lagos and Ibadan.
