Tomica Wright, born on December 7, 1969 in California, is a notable music producer and entrepreneur. She is best known for her role as the owner and CEO of Ruthless Records, having taken over the label in 1995 after the passing of her husband, Eric “Eazy-E” Wright. Prior to achieving prominence in the industry, Tomica worked as a secretary for Clarence Avant at Tabu Records following her graduation from West L.A. Community College and continued to work with him when he moved to Motown Records.
During her tenure at Ruthless Records, Tomica faced challenges but ultimately successfully restructured the label and expanded its roster within two years of assuming control. Additionally, she was reputedly recognized for her efforts in maintaining control of the record label amidst adversity.
In addition to her professional endeavors, Tomica’s personal life includes marriage to Eazy-E before his passing due to HIV; together they had children named Dominick and Daijah.
