About Thekla Reuten
Thekla Reuten (born September 16, 1975) is a Dutch movie actress known for her work in film and television. She gained recognition for her role as “Jillian Salvius” in the Netflix series Warrior Nun and has also appeared opposite George Clooney in The American and in the 2018 spy-thriller Red Sparrow.
Reuten spent her formative years at her grandparents’ house in Tuscany before graduating from Amsterdam’s Academy of Dramatic Arts in 1997. She was awarded Best Actress twice for her lead role in the critically-acclaimed intimate drama Narcosis.
She is the daughter of Joost Reuten and has an Italian mother. Reuten is currently in a relationship with Geert Reuten.
