Dinah Jane, born on June 22, 1997 in Santa Ana, California, is a pop singer and the youngest member of the girl group Fifth Harmony. The group was formed on the second season of the TV show The X Factor. In 2018, she and the band parted ways to pursue their solo careers.
Before gaining fame with Fifth Harmony, Dinah Jane’s audition song for The X Factor was Beyonce‘s “If I Were a Boy,” receiving praise from L.A. Reid for her vocal interpretation of the hit. She, along with Fifth Harmony, signed a joint record deal with Syco Music (Simon Cowell’s label) and Epic Records (L.A. Reid’s label) in early 2013.
Music runs through Dinah Jane’s family as her mother sang in a reggae band and her brothers sang in church.
