Telma Hopkins is an American TV actress and singer born on October 28, 1948, in Louisville, Kentucky. She is best known for her role as Rachel Crawford in the popular TV show Family Matters and also appeared in the film Are We There Yet? Additionally, she played Yolanda in the Netflix series Dead To Me.
Throughout her career, Hopkins has appeared in over 400 episodes of television. Before her acting career took off, she began as a backup singer in Michigan and later became part of the 1970s pop group Tony Orlando and Dawn. In 2021, she portrayed Freya in The Matrix 4.
