About Susy Diaz
Susy Diaz, born on September 28, 1964 in Peru, is a former showgirl who found fame as a regular guest on television shows like La Casa de los Secretos and later went on to host the dance show Tropical Rhythm. Prior to her television career, she served in the Peruvian Congress from 1995 to 2000.
Originally from the Barranco district of Peru, Diaz began her professional life as a secretary at Panamericana Television in 1984. Notably, Diaz’s political career was cut short when she was sentenced to three years in prison for bribery in 2009.
Diaz has been married previously to Percy Arevalo and Andy V., a well-known television personality. She also shares a daughter with the composer Augusto Polo Campos.
