About Susan Lynch
Susan Lynch (born June 5, 1971) is a Northern Irish movie actress known for her award-winning performances in the films Nora (2000) and 16 Years of Alcohol (2003). She has also gained recognition for her work in the television miniseries Any Time Now and in the films Beautiful Creatures (2000) and Mapmaker (2001).
Lynch trained at London’s Central School of Speech and Drama. In addition to her screen work, she has played leading roles on stage, including in the Royal National Theatre’s production of The Night Season and the Almeida Theatre’s staging of The Last Days of Judas Iscariot.
Born into a family of Irish and Italian heritage, Lynch grew up in County Armagh, Northern Ireland. She has four siblings, including actor John Lynch. She currently resides in Gloucestershire, England with her husband Craig Parkinson, who is also an actor, and their son.
