About Susan Blu
Susan Blu is an American voice actress known for her role as Arcee in the original movie, Transformers, and its animated series. Born on July 12, 1948, in Minnesota, Blu graduated from Missouri’s Stephens College in 1968 before establishing herself as a prominent voice actress.
She lent her vocal talents to various characters including Stormer and Lin-Z-Pierce in the popular 1980s animated series Jem. Additionally, Blu made an on-screen appearance in the television series Three’s Company in 1977.
Blu was married to actress Cynthia Songe with whom she owned Blupka Productions Inc., until Songe’s passing. She later married Tania Themmen in 2013.
