Stephanie Salas is a Mexican World Music Singer, known for her successful career as both an actress in telenovelas and singer within the Mexican music industry. She was born on February 5, 1970, in Mexico City, Mexico.
Salas made her debut in the entertainment industry at a young age by singing on the TV show Noche a Noche when she was just 8 years old. She then ventured into acting and made her debut at age 16 on the telenovela El precio de la fama.
In addition to acting, Salas has also achieved success as a singer. In 2012, she released her fifth studio album titled “Soy Lo Que Soy.” Her sophomore album “La raza humana” from 1994 received the Palmas de Oro musical prize from Mexican music critics. The song “Nube,” from that album, was inspired by the sudden death of Kurt Cobain.
