Stephanie Payne is an Australian social activist and advocate for the fair treatment of overweight people. She was born on January 23, 1980, in Australia and has worked for the Australian Department of Human Services. Prior to her activism, she underwent Laparoscopic surgery to lose weight after reaching a weight of over 530 pounds.
In addition to her advocacy work, Stephanie participated in the 2011 Relay for Life. She married Bradley Lowdell in 2008, and together they have four children. Notably, her grandmother is Dame Phyllis Frost, a well-known Australian philanthropist.
