Stella Stevens, born on October 1, 1938 in Yazoo City, Mississippi, is a renowned movie actress known for her prolific career spanning several decades. She rose to fame after appearing as a playmate alongside Elvis Presley in the 1962 film Girls! Girls! Girls! and garnered critical acclaim and a Golden Globe Award for her role in Say One For Me. Additionally, she starred in the 1972 hit film The Poseidon Adventure among many others, amassing over 140 acting credits.
Prior to her acting career, Stevens studied medicine at Memphis State College. Born in the late ’30s she appeared opposite Jerry Lewis in The Nutty Professor and played Gail Hendricks in The Silencers (1966).
In her personal life, Stella began dating Bob Kulick in 1983 following her marriage to Noble Herman Stephens from 1954 to 1957. She also has a son named Andrew.
