Srabanti Chatterjee, born on August 13th, 1987 in India, is a prominent Tollywood film and television actress. She is widely recognized for her remarkable performances in the West Bengal cinema industry, with notable roles in movies such as Champion (2003) and Goynar Baksho (2013). Often referred to simply as Srabanti or Shrabonti, she has also gained acclaim for her appearances in ETV Bangla teleplays.
Originally from Kolkata, India where the Western Bengal film industry thrives, Srabanti made her debut in the 1997 film Mayar Badhon. Following a hiatus from acting between 2003 and 2008, she made a powerful comeback with her role in the 2008 movie Bhalobasha Bhalobasha.
In addition to her successful career as an actress, Srabanti had been married to film director Rajib Biswas since 2002 before their divorce in 2013.
