Sophie Muller, born on January 31, 1962 in England, is a prolific music video director known for her work with artists such as No Doubt and The Killers. With a career spanning from the early 80s, she has directed over one hundred music videos.
Before gaining fame, Muller earned a Masters Degree from the Royal College of Art and worked as an assistant on the 1984 film Company of Wolves. Notably, she directed the video for No Doubt’s “Don’t Speak,” which won the Best Group Video award at the 1997 MTV Video Music Awards.
She comes from a family with siblings named Matthew and Clare.
