Sophie Milliet (born November 2, 1983) is a French chess player from Marseille. She is a former national champion and holds the titles of International Master and Woman Grandmaster. Throughout her professional career, she achieved success in multiple championships and was regarded as one of the top players in the world.
Milliet’s accomplishments include winning her first national chess title at the 2003 French Women’s Championship. She began playing chess at an early age, developing her skills to eventually launch her professional career at just 17 years old.
Besides chess, Milliet also enjoys playing badminton in her free time. She has claimed victory as the women’s French chess champion six times.
Originally from Marseille, she currently resides in Roussillon, France.
