About Sophia Banks
Sophia Banks is an Australian director known for her work in film and commercials. She gained recognition in 2016 with the award-winning short film “Making It On Time” for Christian Siriano. Her directorial credits include commercials for major brands such as Pepsi, BMW, Valentino, and Fred Segal. In 2018, she directed her first short narrative film titled “Unregistered.”
Prior to pursuing a career in directing, Banks graduated from the University of Technology Sydney in 2001 with a degree in marketing and international business.
Banks is represented by Creative Artists Agency (CAA). She has one daughter named Coco, born on February 8, 2009.
