About Song Ji-hyo
Song Ji-hyo, born on August 15, 1981 in Pohang, South Korea, is a renowned South Korean TV actress known for her work in television series such as Princess Hours and Jumong, as well as films like Jackal is Coming and A Frozen Flower. In 2010, she joined the cast of the popular variety show Running Man.
Her interest in acting was ignited after watching Park Shin-yang’s performance in the 1998 South Korean film Promise. Song Ji-hyo pursued accounting at Kookje College and Kyung Moon University before venturing into her successful acting career.
She grew up with her two younger siblings in Pohang within the North Gyeongsang Province of South Korea.
