Sofia Helin, born on April 25, 1972 in Sweden, is a Swedish actress best known for her roles in various films including Nina Frisk (2007) and Metropia (2009). She gained international recognition for her portrayal of Saga Norén in the television series The Bridge.
Before pursuing an acting career, Helin earned a degree in philosophy from Lund University. Notably, she was involved in a cycling accident at the age of 24 which left her with a facial scar.
Helin is married and has two children, son Ossian and daughter Nike.
