About Simon Dumont
Simon Dumont, born on July 9, 1986 in Maine, is a freestyle skier known for his outstanding achievements in the sport. His career includes winning X Games gold medals in Superpipe, Railjam and Big Air events. In 2008, he set a world quarter-pipe height record by achieving 35.5 feet of air at Sunday River in Bethel, Maine.
Prior to his skiing career, Dumont was involved in modeling and had aspirations of becoming an actor. He attended Telstar Regional High School where he participated in golf and soccer before ultimately pursuing skiing as his primary passion.
In addition to his athletic endeavors, Dumont founded Empire Attire, an athletic wear company launched in 2008. He comes from a family with an older brother and a younger sister.
