About Silvana Gallardo
Silvana Gallardo, born on January 13, 1953 in New York City, was a renowned TV actress best known for her recurring role as Alicia Nunouz on the CBS soap opera Falcon Crest. She also made notable appearances in popular shows such as NYPD Blue, L.A. Law, Cagney and Lacey, and The Golden Girls.
Before rising to fame through her television roles, Gallardo had early career credits in episodes of Days of Our Lives, Starsky and Hutch, and Kojak during the 1960s and ’70s. Apart from acting, she created an acclaimed method of training actors known as the “Gallardo Method.”
Gallardo hailed from a diverse background with Native American, Cuban, and Venezuelan heritage and spent her formative years in New York City’s Bronx borough. Her marriage to television and film actor Billy Drago endured from 1980 until her passing in 2012.
