Shohreh Aghdashloo is an Iranian-born actress, born on May 11, 1952 in Tehran, Iran. She is best known for her extensive work in film and television, and has received critical acclaim for her performances.
Aghdashloo’s career began at age 18 with several stage roles before making her debut in the film Gozaresh. She later gained recognition for her role in the 2003 film House of Sand and Fog, which earned her an Emmy Award.
In addition to her film credits, she provided the voice for Admiral Shala’Raan vas Tonbay in the video games Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3.
She married Houshang Touzie in 1987 and has a daughter named Tara.
