Shim Eun-kyung is a South Korean actress born on May 31, 1994, in Gangneung, South Korea. She has gained international recognition for her roles in films such as Happy Killers (2010), Miss Granny (2014), and Missing You (2016). In addition to acting, she is also a skilled singer and has lent her voice to the soundtracks of several of her films.
Eun-kyung began her career as a child actress and made her debut on the series The Woman Who Wants to Marry in 2004. Her talent and dedication were acknowledged when she won the Buil Film Award and Director’s Cut Award for Best Actress in 2014 for her outstanding performance in Miss Granny.
She was born to parents Shim Nam and Yang Mi-kyung and is the youngest among her siblings.
