About Shalisa van der Laan
Shalisa van der Laan (born December 19, 1999) is a Dutch pop singer known for her rise to fame on the inaugural season of The Voice Kids in 2012. She represented the Netherlands at the 2015 Junior Eurovision Contest with her song “Million Lights,” and later released a single titled “Not Alone” under Hollywood Records in October 2017.
Prior to her notable success, Shalisa participated in various talent competitions, including Songfestival van Kinderen voor Kinderen at the age of 8, and received musical education at a school in Purmerend. She also starred as Nina on the Disney Channel series Just Like Me! starting in 2016.
Born in Hoorn, Netherlands, Shalisa’s early exposure to music paved the Way for her future career as a pop star.
