Shailene Garnett is a Canadian TV actress known for her roles in various series. She was born on February 20, 1111, in Montreal, Canada. Garnett played Iris Beals on the CBC series Diggstown and portrayed Nomi Johnston in Murdoch Mysteries. Her other notable appearances include roles in Covert Affairs, The Strain, Single Ladies, Shadowhunters: The Mortal Instruments, and Jack Ryan.
Prior to her fame as an actress, Garnett made one of her earliest screen appearances in a 2011 episode of Dual Suspects. In addition to her television work, she has appeared in films such as The Best Man Holiday (2013) and Sons of God (2017). Furthermore, she has directed multiple short films including 77 Days (2016).
