About Sarah Schleper
Sarah Schleper is an American alpine skier known for her career in the United States Ski team. She was born on February 19, 1979, in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.
Throughout her athletic career, Schleper participated in four Olympic Games and five World Championships. In 2005, she achieved her sole World Cup victory in the slalom event.
In an intriguing turn of events, Schleper made a comeback to skiing by representing Mexico at the World Alpine Ski Championships in 2014 after retiring from professional competition. This move followed her acquisition of Mexican citizenship through marriage to Federico Gaxiola in 2007.
Schleper is now focused on family life with Gaxiola and their children Lasse and Resi.
