Parsons gained recognition for winning the bronze medal at the 2006 Winter Olympics as part of the USA team. Her international debut came at the 2005 World Championships where she secured her first Gold Medal while representing her country.
Her passion for hockey began at a young age of 5, and she continued to excel in sports during her time at Noble and Greenough School in Dedham, Massachusetts. Notably, Parsons held the school record for points in hockey and most goals in soccer. At just 15 years old, she joined the national U-22 women’s team before later attending Dartmouth College.
