About Sarah Hindsgaul
Sarah Hindsgaul (born July 30, 1978) is a Danish professional hair stylist known for her work on celebrities, television shows, and movies. She gained recognition as the head of the hair department for Stranger Things, designing time-appropriate hairstyles and creating wigs for the cast.
Hindsgaul began her career in film styling in 2004 and made her debut as Key Hair Stylist on the show Flashback. Her first major motion picture was Sleepwalk with Me in 2012, followed by Sinister later that year.
In 2017, she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy award for Outstanding Hairstyling for a Single-Camera Series for her work on Stranger Things. Hindsgaul was born and raised in Denmark and has two children named Eli and Lucy who occasionally appear in photos on her Instagram.
