Sara Moonves (born November 26, 1984) is an American journalist, stylist, and magazine editor known for her work at Vogue and T magazine. In 2017, she was hired as Style director at W magazine before being promoted to Editor in Chief in 2019.
She attended the Harvard-Westlake school in Los Angeles and later earned a degree in journalism from New York University’s Gallatin School of Individualized Study. Prior to her role at W magazine, she interned at Vogue in Los Angeles during high school and then became an assistant at the publication after college.
Aside from her work at Vogue and T: The New York Times Style Magazine, Moonves has also gained attention for amassing over 80,000 followers on her Instagram account.
In terms of family life, Sara Moonves married photographer Jeff Henrikson in 2022. Notably, her father is Les Moonves, former head of CBS; while Julie Chen is her step-mother; Michael is Sara’s younger brother.
