Samantha Lewes, born on November 29, 1952 in San Diego, California, was a former actress best known for her role in the 1980’s film Mr. Success. She was also recognized as the ex-wife of Oscar award-winning actor Tom Hanks. Samantha and Tom first met while they were attending classes at Sacramento State University.
She made her official television debut in 1981 on the show Bosom Buddies. Prior to their divorce in 1987, she and Tom had two children together.
