Samantha Davies, born on November 28, 1974 in England, is a prominent sailor known for her remarkable achievements in the sport of sailing. In 2009, she earned the prestigious title of YJA Yachtsman of the Year and was a member of team Saveol.
Davies gained attention in 2008-2009 for placing fourth by completing a single-handed circumnavigation in the Vendee Globe race. Prior to this feat, she demonstrated her skill early on with an 11th place finish in a mini-transat race in 2001.
