Salma Almasri is a Syrian actress born on January 9, 1958 in Damascus, Syria. Known for her work in television, she has gained popularity with over 450,000 followers on Instagram and appeared in numerous shows and films such as Akher Safqat Hubb, The Survivor, and I.D.
Prior to her acting career, Almasri obtained a law degree but chose not to pursue a career in that field. In 2016, she received an Appreciation State Award from The Culture Ministry.
Her sister Maha Al Masri is also an actress. Salma Almasri was previously married to director Shakib Ghannam with whom she had two children before his passing. She later married announcer Mustapha El Agha.
